“My husband and I recently stayed here for a few days. We have stayed here a few times. The room was very nice, and very clean. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was nice. The breakfast room is very nice and there are lots of breakfast options. The hotel was very quiet. Even though we have been here before, we were very impressed with the hotel and will definitely return.”

We had a lovely view of the harbor, the Bluenose II, and the horse drawn carriages on Bluenose Drive from an enclosed sunroom off our bedroom. Very pleasant and many good restaurants, shops, and the waterfront within easy walking distance.”

“We enjoyed our stay at The Black Forest, despite the cold and rain. The cabin was nicely decorated, clean and comfortable. We had everything we needed, but it would have been nice to have a microwave and freezer; however, we knew there wasn't either when we booked - just a comment really. We felt like we were in the woods, yet we were close enough to walk to several restaurants and shops. We would definitely stay at the Cabins again.”
